Our Founder
Founder and owner Chris Biljan has spent a lifetime in this industry. At the age of 13, Chris began to work in his grandfather’s woodworking shop. He spent every waking hour learning the fine arts of building, designing, and fabricating. Chris’s father eventually took over the family business, and young Chris tagged along in the family pickup truck whenever he could.
Today, Chris is proud to run a thriving family business of his own. Over 30 years in the industry and almost 20 of those as Great Northern Builders, the company has grown from a one-man operation to a thriving business with an amazing team behind him! As Great Northern Builders continues to grow and expand, this family operation is proud to occupy the very same shop that Chris’s grandfather built almost 50 years ago.
